About the Role:

As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you’ll provide therapeutic massages to clients, promoting circulation, relaxation, and pain relief. Collaborating with other practitioners in our clinic, you’ll assist in developing comprehensive treatment plans to ensure holistic care for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Complete clinical compliance requirements, including notes and administrative tasks.
• Maintain practitioner checklists, such as new clients, missed and cancelled appointments.
• Treat our clients as if they were your own family, providing the utmost care and support.
• Utilize your technical massage skills to assess and manage clients’ conditions based on specific causative factors contributing to their pathology. Refer clients to appropriate allied health professionals when necessary.
• Demonstrate excellence in all massage techniques, actively promoting preventative care and early intervention.
• Refer clients for physiotherapy as appropriate.
• We offer full-time or part-time options, with negotiable shifts within clinic hours. Occasional outside-of-hours involvement may be required to support your growth, progression, and the success of the PGSW Team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passionate health practitioner who uses emotional intelligence to support clients’ wishes and shares a deep passion for the massage experience.
• Certificate or Diploma in Remedial Massage and a Medicare provider number with eligibility for patients to claim benefits on their private health insurance.
• Experience in a healthcare clinic is beneficial but not essential.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Friendly, caring, and professional demeanour, coupled with reliability.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Team player with enthusiasm for continuous knowledge and skill development.

The Musts:

• Certificate or Diploma in Remedial Massage.
