Philipa graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2015. She is passionate about physiotherapy and helping all of her clients achieve the best outcome. Throughout her studies she completed her sports training course and worked for various state sports teams. She has played state women’s AFL, touch football, basketball and rugby. Philipa is passionate about helping clients get back to sport and also working with children. She enjoys socialising, having fun, and travelling. She has a special interest in running analysis and prescription, hydrotherapy, sporting injuries and rehabilitation and paediatrics.
Jasmine was inspired to become a physiotherapist when at 15 she completed work experience at a physiotherapy practice. She immediately became passionate about helping people and set her sights on studying physiotherapy. Jasmine graduated from Notre Dame in 2006 and, after working with children with disabilities at Therapy Focus, she joined Physio Group South-West. Soon after she was delighted to have the opportunity to buy the practice and continue her passion for helping people.
In addition to growing our practice and its services, Jasmine and her husband Kyle have also grown their family with the addition of two beautiful children.
Jasmine has a special interest in women’s health, exercise rehabilitation, paediatrics and practice management. She has steered the practice forward to now encompassing three practice locations and was recently awarded Business Person and Business of the Year at the 2016 South-West Small Business Awards.
In her spare time Jasmine enjoys running, playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
Brian studied at Curtin University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2003. He began his career at PGSW and has been a valuable and dedicated part of the team ever since. Brian is our senior physiotherapist at our Collie practice. He has a special interest in returning injured workers back to work and occupational health and safety.
Married with two children, Brian likes to get outdoors in his free time, bushwalking and hiking. He LOVES food and has been known to devour a whole cheesecake in one sitting! He also loves a well- made coffee. Brian has completed courses in dry needling, clinical Pilates, shoulder injuries and spinal pain management.
Nia graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1987. Spending much of her professional life in country areas including the Wheatbelt, Nia is passionate about taking a holistic approach to clients. Her special interests in paediatrics, women’s health and sport injuries. Nia is trained in Womens Health and incontinence. She assists clients with pelvic floor issues, bladder leakage, prolapse, rectus diastasis (stomach muscle separation) and other conditions related to having a baby.
Nia has four children and spends her spare time gardening, reading and watching her three boys play cricket.
Janet studied physiotherapy at the WA School of Physiotherapy and WA Institute of Technology (Curtin University). Alongside over fifty years of experience Janet holds post graduate qualifications in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has worked in practices in the USA and Canada as well as the Northern Territory and Perth. Janet was the first private Physio in Karratha. Owner of private practices in Collie and Australind since 1980, Janet takes a holistic approach to health and wellness. She enjoys cooking, gardening, painting and travelling.
Claire completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. She is the light of our practice with her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. Claire is passionate about sporting injuries, Pilates and hydrotherapy. In her spare time Claire loves to go running and enjoys living close to the ocean.
Samantha gained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Samantha is one of our Pilates instructors and is passionate about helping our clients achieve their physical goals. She enjoys playing netball and catching up with friends and family.
Ebony is an experienced, Senior Physiotherapist. She has a special interest in Pilates, treating dizziness in clients, and Women’s Health. Ebony is also trained in Womens Health and incontinence. She assists clients with pelvic floor issues, bladder leakage, prolapse, rectus diastasis (stomach muscle separation) and other conditions related to having a baby.
She is a mum of 4 beautiful children and is a huge asset to our team. Ebony is available for appointments at our Australind practice.
Alice joined our practice in October 2016. She completed her Physiotherapy Degree at
the University of Notre Dame and was awarded Honours. She is a published Physiotherapist and is presenting at National Physiotherapy conferences. Alice has a passion for helping clients overcome pain, and has a special interest in cardiorespiratory conditions, as well as lymphedema and post-cancer rehabilitation. In her spare time she enjoys swimming!
Deb has recently joined us from Sydney. She completed her masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Deb is one of our Pilates superstars as well as having a strong passion for helping people with complex and long term pain conditions. She has a lot of experience in the agricultural industry and a great appreciation for the physical demands of this area. She is a fantastic addition to our team and has massive amounts of compassion and care for her clients.
Eliza is a Physiotherapist who completed her double degree at Notre Dame University and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. She is passionate about rehabilitation through exercise and Pilates. In her spare time she enjoys doing Pilates herself, running, swimming and travelling!
