Meet Ebony, a passionate physiotherapist who thrives on the ever-changing nature of her profession. Qualifying in 2007, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ebony joined our PGSW team in 2017 and currently serves as one of our esteemed Senior Physiotherapists. Beyond her Physiotherapy degree she holds postgraduate qualifications and is a titled Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist. Ebony dedicates herself to addressing pelvic health concerns among women, men, and children.

Ebony’s expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, including pelvic floor issues, bladder and bowel dysfunctions (such as leakage, constipation, and bed-wetting), pelvic organ prolapse, rectus abdominis diastasis (separation of stomach muscles), pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and other conditions associated with pregnancy and pelvic health. Her commitment to patient care and well being is evident in her unwavering dedication to helping individuals regain their optimal health and quality of life.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ebony cherishes her role as a loving spouse and a proud mother of four beautiful children. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing netball, enjoys family outings and nurtures her passion for up-cycling furniture and engaging in DIY home renovations.

Her areas of interest lie in cancer rehabilitation, sports injuries, headaches, and migraines with her certification in the Dean Watson Headache Headache Approach. As a certified PINC physiotherapist, Claire is dedicated to providing specialized care for women with cancer or recovering from cancer. Additionally, she leads Physio Exercise sessions and Hydrotherapy classes, empowering her patients with long-term self-help skills. She is also one of our Clinical Mentors and provides inspiring leadership and support to our team. Beyond her professional commitments, Claire finds joy in beach outings, gym sessions at F45, catching up over a cup of coffee, and embarking on road trips to Margaret River. She is an active member of a local running club, fueling her enthusiasm for an active lifestyle.

Kyle

Kyle is an exceptional physiotherapist who takes great pleasure in helping individuals lead fulfilling and healthy lives. With a strong dedication to his profession, he joined PGSW in early 2019 and has since developed a special interest in sports-related injuries, shoulder and elbow pain, as well as chronic pain management. Known for his calm and approachable nature, Kyle has become a favoUrite among our clients. His authenticity shines through, and he is truly an outstanding individual.

At PGSW, Kyle plays a vital role as he leads our Student Program and contributes significantly to our esteemed New Graduate Program. He is also one of our valued clinical mentors, guiding and supporting fellow practitioners in their professional development.

Beyond the clinic walls, you’ll often find Kyle on the tennis court, either enjoying a friendly game or actively participating in tournaments. Additionally, he cherishes his time spent outdoors, engaging in activities like fishing and camping, which further nourish his passion for an active and balanced lifestyle.

Monica completed her Physio Degree in 2018 and has worked in Private Practice treating clients with a variety of conditions for many years. Her passion for treating the sporting population let her to go on and study her Master of Clinical Physiotherapy in Sports through Curtin University. She has gained further experience in rehabilitating and managing athletes and individuals with injuries or debilitating conditions, training with physiotherapists who work in elite sport and manage complex conditions. She worked with Perth Glory A-League in her practical experience in the Master’s degree. She has also worked with National Premier League players and Australian Rules Football players.
Monica thrives on tailoring individualised exercise programs to help individuals achieve their goals and maintain long term success. Her experience and exposure makes sporting injuries and optimising performance her expertise. She can also assist with pre-season screening for injury prevention and in-season and off-season management. Monica also possesses clinical interests in injuries including ACL, knee, ankle, hip, groin, ankle and shoulder.
When Monica is not practicing physiotherapy, you can find her playing tennis, working out, or seeking out adventures in nature!

Ernest originally comes from the Philippines but has grown to love Australia. With more than 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist, he’s worked in various areas like neurology, musculoskeletal issues, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary conditions, and sports-related injuries. He’s particularly passionate about helping people with knee and shoulder injuries and has a special interest in neurological conditions.

Outside of work, Ernest enjoys hitting the gym regularly, playing basketball, and spending time on his favorite video games. He’s a down-to-earth healthcare professional who loves what he does.

Having spent over three years as a Sport Trainer, she ascended to the position of Head Trainer at East Fremantle Football Club. She has a keen interest in treating issues like low back and neck pain, as well as various sporting injuries involving knees, ankles, and shoulders.

Originally from Leschenault, she shares her life with a Flat Coat Retriever named Buster and is an avid enthusiast of the outdoors. Whether it’s swimming, camping, or going on 4WD adventures, she embraces the beauty of nature. She also enjoys going to the gym  and keeping fit and healthy.

Tawnee

Remedial Massage Therapist

Tawnee is a skilled remedial massage therapist with expertise in various techniques such as myofascial cupping, dry needling, deep tissue, sports massage, relaxation, and personalized remedial therapies. Her approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

She completed her remedial massage diploma in Perth and became a qualified practitioner in 2019. In 2021, Tawnee returned to her hometown in the South West region, driven by her passion for health and fitness. She firmly believes that remedial massage complements a healthy lifestyle by supporting the body’s natural healing abilities and promoting overall well-being. Her goal is to help individuals continue doing the activities they love.

Tawnee is known for her caring nature, grounded personality, and genuine desire to assist others in their health journey.

Besides being a super mum to two cute kiddos, you’ll often find her rocking it on the volleyball court—be it at indoor beach or indoor hardcourt. And when she’s not playing sports, she’s gaming away. Oh, and did I mention her cool rainbow-colored hair? Yeah, she used to be an education assistant for special needs kids, and she’d switch up her hair colours during every holiday to bring some extra joy to the school kids. Cool, right?
