Brian

Degree: Bachelor of Science – Physiotherapy

Studied at: Curtin University

Brian’s Story: Brian loves Physiotherapy because it gives him the chance to help people live happy and health lives. After graduating in 2003, Brian began his career at PGSW. He has a special interest in sporting related injuries and lower back pain.  Outside of work, Brian is married to his beautiful wife and has 2 children. He has volunteered in in Laos and Thailand and enjoys fishing, camping and tennis. Brian is quite the ‘foodie’ and loves a well-made coffee.

Ebony

Studied at: University of Notre Dame and Curtin University

Ebony’s Story: Ebony loves Physiotherapy because every day is different and there is always more to learn! Ebony joined our PGSW team in 2017 and is one of our Senior Physiotherapists. She is a Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist who has a passion for treating pelvic health issues in women, men and children. This includes pelvic floor issues, bladder and bowel issues (including leakage, constipation and bed-wetting), pelvic organ prolapse, rectus abdominis diastasis (stomach muscle separation), pelvic pain and other conditions related to pregnancy and pelvic health. Ebony is married and has 4 beautiful children. Other than family outings, she has a keen interest in up-cycling furniture and DIY home renovations.

Claire’s Story: Claire loves Physiotherapy because there are so many ways that Physiotherapists can help people and it is great to see the change she can make in someone’s life, and then to give them the skills to help themselves long term! She has been with PGSW since 2016 and is the light of our Practice with her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. She is passionate about cancer rehabilitation and sporting injuries. She is one of our PINC certified Physios and also runs Physio Exercise sessions and Hydrotherapy classes.  Claire loves going to the beach and the gym, going out for a coffee and road tripping to Margaret River. She is also a member of the running club.

Sam’s Story: Sam loves Physiotherapy because she gets to help people feel better and help them achieve their goals. She has been a member of the PGSW team since 2017 with a special interest in sporting injuries. She is one of our PINC certified Physiotherapists. She runs our Healthy Ageing classes and Physio Exercise Sessions.  Outside of work; you will find Sam playing netball, running or at the beach.

Deb’s Story: Deb loves Physiotherapy because it provides some answers to universal problems and she has a passion for helping people with complex and long-term pain conditions. She has a lot of experience in the agricultural industry and a great appreciation for the physical demands of this area. She also has further training in neck pain and headache management as well as the wrist and hand.  Outside of work; Deb is a keen reader, enjoys playing video games for some downtime and loves a good music festival.  Deb is available for appointment in our Harvey practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Kyle’s Story: Kyle loves Physiotherapy because it gives him the chance to help people live happy and health lives.  Kyle started working at PGSW in early 2019  and has a passion in sporting related injuries, lower back pain and chronic pain. Outside of work; you’ll find Kyle either playing tennis or in a tennis tournament. If he’s not on the court, Kyle will be outside fishing and camping.

Monica’s Story: Monica loves Physiotherapy because there is no ‘one size fits all’ to help make an impact on patients’ lives and achieve daily/sporting goals. Originally from the City, Monica has moved down to the country in 2018 with a passion for hip and shoulder pain, sporting related injuries and vertigo. Outside work, you will find Monica competing and coaching in tennis, or trying out different sports, hikes and recipes!

Joella’s Story: Joella grew up on a farm in regional VIC & SA. She is passionate about physiotherapy because she loves to help individual’s live their lives to the fullest. Joella has a special interest in migraines/headaches and sporting injuries. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, playing hockey, is a avid reader and a plant lover

Danica’s Story: Danica grew up and attended school in Australind. Danica loves being a Physiotherapist as she feels it is the most rewarding job helping people move and feel better. Danica has a passion for gerontology and treating those with neurological conditions however is working towards being a therapist with experience in multiple avenues of Physiotherapy. In her spare time, you’ll find Danica dancing, brunching and drinking lots of coffee.

Sally’s Story: Sally grew up in Canberra and made the move to Collie in 2021. Sally loves being a Physiotherapist because she loves to connect with people, help them achieve rewarding goals, and help them to feel and move better every day. Sally has a passion for treating acute sporting injuries with special interest in Netball and Aussie Rules Football. Additionally, she has a keen interest in women’s health and helping women improve their quality of life through physiotherapy. Outside of work, you can find Sally playing netball or footy, walking her dog or enjoying the outdoors!

Sharon

Sharon’s Story: Sharon began with the practice in 1999 and started as receptionist. Due to her knowledge, experience and leadership skills, she has now been the Practice Manager since 2011. Sharon works very hard behind the scenes to ensure your experience at PGSW is seamless and efficient. Sharon grew up in New Zealand and came to Australia in 1997. She’s called Collie home for 35 years, and is married with 3 wonderful sons. She loves to travel, enjoys photography, swimming, going to the movies, drinking coffee and treating herself to spa treatments! Her bucket list is to go to Italy with her husband and stomp the grapes, and to caravan around Australia.

Wanda

Wanda’s Story: Wanda has been a great asset to the PGSW team joining us in 2000 and became the Australind Practice Manager in 2008. Wanda grew up in Canada and has been in Australia since 1997. You’ll often find Wanda camping and getting away from the city. Her bucket list is to see all of Australia!

Bonny’s Story: Since starting in 2017 Bonny has been our PGSW photographer, Marketer, Debt collector and our smiley face at the front desk 5 days a week in Collie but also relief in Harvey and Australind. When Bonny isn’t at work; you will find her outside keeping busy! playing soccer (or any sport), camping and/or fishing. Bonny loves spending time with her partner and  their fur-babies.

Renae’s Story:  Renae is based in our Collie practice. She is married and has two beautiful boys. She is also a local Hockey star!

Brooke’s Story: Brooke is a born and bred Collie local who has seen her fair share of the world and still thinks Collie is the place to be! Being a Mum of two beautiful kids keeps Brooke busy, but she can always find time for podcasts, online shopping, and in true PGSW style… COFFEE!

Zoey’s Story: Zoey is 16 years old, born in collie and has been here ever since. Zoey loves travelling around! Zoey also said she hasn’t seen much so she wants to see everything! Zoey’s likes playing any sport. In Zoey’s spare time she loves catching up with her friends.

Teresa’s Story: Teresa is one of our Customer Relations super stars! She has worked at PGSW since 2015. She loves to meet new people and interact with clients. Teresa is married with 2 gorgeous daughters. She enjoys going to the races, going out for a meal and travelling and has visited much of Asia. Teresa is a valued part of our team, is full of life and enjoys having a laugh.

Nikita

Nikita’s Story: Nikita has been with PGSW since 2017 and you will find her happy face at the front of the Australind practice. When not at  work Nikita loves being surrounded by nature whether that’s camping or out in the ocean snorkeling. She is a keen drawer and has a passion for fighting the war on plastic in the world.

Ruth’s Story: Ruth is one of our awesome Client Experience Officers in our Australind practice! She is married, lives in Collie and has lots of chickens & roosters, a rescue cat, two dogs, finches (with babies currently) and some fish! Ruth absolutely lives for their animals & garden, but mostly the veggie patches & orchard. She has a radiant and friendly smile and loves to make your day when she greets you!

Gabby’s Story: Gabby is our customer service officer at our Harvey Practice, but also does relief work in our other practices. Gabby moved to the Harvey area just over a year ago, so loves to find out where all the locals go for anything in the area!!! When Gabby isn’t at work she loves spending time with and being mum to her two amazing sons, cat and very naughty dog.

Triska’s Story: Having lived locally in Bunbury/Australind her entire life Triska loves the friendly community feel at PGSW. She loves greeting  familiar faces and meeting new ones. Outside of work she enjoys visiting the sights of the scenic South West with her husband and two awesome teenagers! Triska loves running and has a weakness for a killer sunrise!

Lisa’s Story: Outside of work Lisa loves spending time with her husband and their two teenage daughters. They enjoy holidaying on the WA coast. You will often find Lisa on the beach taking pictures of the sunsets. Lisa enjoys baking and reading (when she has time).  They moved to Australind 8 years ago and love living there.

Stefany’s Story: Stef is our ray of sunshine at our Harvey Practice, but also loves to do relief work in our other practices. Stef is a Harvey local, we are sure she will be able to fill you in with where the best coffee is! When Stef isn’t at work she loves shopping, shopping and more shopping but also loves spending quality time with her puppies!

Toni’s Story: Toni is our admin relief customer service champion with great sense of humour and has been with us since early 2019. Toni is married with 2 wonderful daughters. She loves getting into deep conversations about why humans do the things we do and spending time relaxing with her 2 Labradors.

Jasmine

Studied at: University of Notre Dame

Jasmine’s Story:  Jas loves Physiotherapy because she loves helping people, and more recently has fallen in love with developing a team who love to help people! We can reach so many more people! At the age of 15, after completing work experience at a Physiotherapy practice, Jasmine was inspired to help people. Once she graduated in 2006, she went on to work with children with disabilities at Therapy Focus. Soon after joining the team at PGSW Jas had the opportunity to buy the Practice and continue her passion for helping people. Jasmine has a special interest in Women’s Health, exercise rehabilitation, paediatrics and practice management. She has steered the practice forward to now encompassing 3 Practice locations, and was recently awarded Business Person and Business of the Year at the 2016 South-West Small Business Awards.  Outside of work; Jasmine, and her supportive husband Kyle, have 2 beautiful children. She enjoys running, playing Volleyball and spending time with her family.
